Refreshing Cucumber Clay Mask

Benefits:

Cucumber extract is a superfood for the skin. The juice is composed largely of proteins, lipids, Vitamin C, and a variety of minerals, and possesses moisturizing and emollient properties. It also has an astringent effect and can soothe and relieve puffy skin. Due to its antimicrobial properties, peppermint oil may help reduce levels of acne-causing bacteria on the skin to help treat pimples

Ingredients:

Kaolin (White Kaolin Clay), Cucumis sativus (Cucumber Peel Extract), Mentha piperita (Peppermint) Oil

To activate the mask:

In a small bowl, combine two teaspoons of clay with enough water to form a paste (Aloe Vera juice, facial oil, or honey can be used in place of water). Apply evenly to clean face and neck (avoiding eye and mouth areas) and let sit for 10 - 15 min. Rinse with water and finish with your favorite toner, serum, and moisturizer. Use 1-2 times per week. Do not use it on broken or overly sensitive skin.
